So that's two more London Hamlet's next year. I'm personally more excited about Kinnear's.

The post on the Railways Arms was indeed Mr. Simm who stops by every so often to address his fans. I also happen to hear him say he was playing the role this past Monday evening outside the Duke of York theather after his performance in Speaking in Tongues. So it seems confirmed! Can't wait.

Ahhh, more Danes to look forward to! I know I'm happy!
(Is there some kind of filter we can apply to the board so we can skip past the inevitable "OMG NOT AGAIN" posts and stick to real discussion?
)

Both Hamlet and Sam Tyler find themselves in a world they do not really understand and are alienated from. They both find out the truth of their situation from otherworldly visions.
So
Elsinore = 1973
Ghost = OU broadcasts
There's also a moment at the end of the first episode of LoM where Sam finds himself hesitating to take 'the definitive step' to restore things the way they should be.
Any other vague parallels?

Any other vague parallels?
LoM: stars Gene Hunt.
Hamlet: stars a man who's hunting a man who shares his genes.
I wouldn't say a word that could be reckoned as injurious,
But to find a mother younger than her son is very curious,
And that's the kind of mother that is usually spurious.

Does anyone have an idea who he is doing it with (theatre company etc.)?

It can't be the RSC (did it last year), National (Kinear next year) or the Donmar (did it this year).
The Old Vic?
The Rose in Kingston?
