Broadway has been very good to me. But then, I've been very good to broadway.

It's had its own website for almost a year now: www.allaboutmymother.com.

Adamson's involvement is very promising but I'm personally most excited that Alberto Iglesias is retaining involvement in it; Almodovar wouldn't be Almodovar without him.

Can't see the point of staging something that was a successful (amongst a certain section of movie-goers anyway) film first. Has there been a single successful example of screen-to-stage transfer (except for musicals) ? Of recent ones "Theatre of Blood" was lamentable and "His Girl Friday" was based on an original play anyway (but was still less entertaining than the film), "Don't Look Now" at the Lyric Hammersmith was disappointing. NT "A Matter of Life and Death" is yet to be seen.

Turning it around, what films WOULD be good candidates for stage transfer ?
