Up For An Award

Precious little to do with theatre (except that plenty of my am dram chums star in it), but I am delighted and rather excited to say that my 60 second spoof remake of Where Eagles Dare is one of the finalists in Empire film magazine's Done in 60 Seconds competition this year.
Please have a look at it. I hope you enjoy it, and if you like it, please feel free to vote for it.
EDIT: For some reason the Empire website doesn't seem to be letting me watch the videos at the moment. Luckily mine is also available in glorious Youtube-erama.

I'm an Empire subscriber but rarely have time to plough through all their stuff.
Where Eagles Dare has special memories for me as we watched it at the cinema during the Seventies in three day week (Ewell Odeon, I believe) and an already dark film was virtually invisible as the power was low (tell the youngsters today about brown outs and power cuts and they think you come from the Dark Ages... ). We had to strain our eyes to distinguish Clint from Burton.
Good luck (I liked the cable car bits!)

To get the theatrical plugs in, "Michael Hordern"/"Major von Hapen"/"General Carnaby" is appearing at the Miller Centre in Caterham this week and next week in Proof, and "Clint Eastwood", "Ingrid Pitt" and "Nazi who gets killed seven times" are all appearing in And Then There Were None at the Ashcroft Theatre, Croydon next month.
