Walked past the theatre on Saturday, and just wondered what everyone thought of the Equus signage that takes over the exterior of the theatre?

The image is most definately striking and one of the best designs in recent years. But it also kind of looks like there is work going on at the theatre with all the scaffolding. The scaffolding isnt quite hidden and looks a bit messy. However the impact from a distance is amazing.

Don't know about any work being done but when I walked past on Monday or Tuesday last week when it was being erected I spotted three posters that had been uncovered on the exterior of the theatre of a production (don't remember which) at the theatre when it was still called The Globe Theatre!

Is this what Gielgud envisaged when he gave his name to the venue.  ohmy.gif
