once again, everybody takes the words of the british press as gospel.

there is no guarantee that she actually said what she's been quoted as saying..

.....and anything she has said may have been taken totally out of context.

I won't be called a baggage!

Im sure its the way the article was written which made the cast sound ungrateful! I mean, there is NOTHING wrong that the cast of Spamalot felt bad and annoyed, I mean they mustve been SO excited when they got most nominations but went back with none! I mean, I'd be pissed off as well! And the show's got Best Musical in the Tonys, so they mustve thought their chances are high! I have to say, I really enjoyed Spamalot, in fact all of the musicals I've watched this yr (apart from Cabaret) and this yr's competition is HUGE! Im more pissed off that none of the Avenue Q cast were nominated!
I actually thought Tim (Spamalot) shudve got Best Supporting instead of Sheila!

Hi all!

Hope everyone's out and about enjoying the sunshine today :-) (though clearly not if you're sitting there reading this!).

Just a quick heads-up that Hannah Waddingham will be doing a cabaret in the Delfont room at the Prince of Wales theatre on Saturday 25th April.

Doors open at 10:30pm, with the show starting at 11pm. Sounds like it's gonna be a good evening, with some jazzy stuff going on, and she mentioned that there would be some invited guests performing too. Bar open until 1am.

General admission tickets are £10 I think, with seating being available at £15 or £20. The seating appears to be grouped into little tables, which makes for a nice atmosphere.

Hope to see some of you there!

JellicleKat, thanks for the info. You might have done more for Hannah W. by starting a new thread rather than resurrecting this old unfavourable one (which I read at the time but had completely forgotten).
Ooh, that Bernadette Shaw - what a chatterbox!

We don't approve of double posting (the same post on multiple threads), but if JellicleKat would like his/her post to be split from this thread and moved to a new one, all he/she has to do is ask for it (and preferably say what the preferred title of that new thread would be).

Hi gang!

Orchestrator, I totally agree that a new thread would've been much better...I just didn't think I would be allowed to start a new thread for Hannah seeing as there already was one :-). But I see now that I can! So...to any mods reading this, please could my post be moved to a new thread? I don't mind what the title is...perhaps Hannah Waddingham's Cabaret?

Thanks!

Done. It's in the Musicals forum a bit back as it places in time when the original post was made, so it's currently on page 2 of that forum.

Hannah Waddingham will visit Spain to give a concert entitled ‘Hannah Waddingham canta... todoMUSICALES’. The event will be at the L'Auditori's Sala Oriol Martorell in Barcelona on Thursday, October 28 (9.30 pm).

In this unique concert in Barcelona, she will be performing a selection of stunning musical theatre songs with the musical direction by David Randall.

The concert will also feature three special guest (Mone, Sergi Albert y Joan Vázquez), who are Spanish musical theatre professionals. They will sing a duet with Hannah Waddingham.

Don't miss your chance to spend an intimate evening in Barcelona with this West End and Broadway star!

In the WOS award nominations, do you think Hannah Waddingham would count as best SUPPORTING actress for Into the Woods?
