I had no idea it was a film as well, I've only heard of the version that opened in the US (Washington?) - originally titled Miss Hannigan's Revenge, then simply Annie 2. I think that there's an account of it in 'Not Since Carrie'

The film sequal is a different story to the stage sequal and I don't think the creators of either had anything to do with each other.

But I agree, the Annie 2 film is a humungous bag of poo.
I won't be called a baggage!

what if... rather than a sequel they completely redesigned Les Mis. Same musical but staged differently. We (or at least I) love the show but it looks the same as it did some 20 years ago and to show it fresh MAY enthuse new life in it...

Was the film Shock Treatment a sequel to Rocky Horror Show?

It was a sequel to the Picture Show but with different leads as Brad abd Janet and of those from the Picture Show that appeared most played different characters.  Richard O'Brien has been planning a stage sequel for years but it still hasn't materialised.  One version was to be called Revenge Of The Old Queen in which Her Lace Curtain, The Old Queen sought revenge for the death of her son, Frank 'N' Furter.  Another version called Rocky Horror: The Second Coming was to have seen Janet pregnant to Frank.

If you ever speak to Richard O'Brien he will always state that Shock Treatment was never a sequel to RHPS.

The Janet being pregnant by Frank story is true though but i met Richard in Biormingham once after the opening night of one of the many tours and i asked about the sequel, his wine-fuelled reply was "Why should i write a sequel when the first ones so fucking good"
This is a direct quote from the man himself so i am guessing it will never appear.
