Again - very boringly - it's my name !
The engine roared, the motor hissed,
And who could see that the road would twist

I started running my Starlight Express website, named "Belle's Domain" after my favourite character in the show, about 7 years ago.  As I ran Belle's Domain, people starting referring to me as Belle...  it stuck.  I use Belle pretty much everywhere online now.

It's my name. My mother named me after a film star - obviously not a very successful one because I've never heard of one called this name. People think it is French cos of the 'ette' ending. It is more likely to be a pretentious addition to Lynne or derived from the Welsh Llynedd [ or someat] Anyway, I had no idea it possible to choose another name when I found WOS and now I am quite happy that I didn't. There are not that many of us - I've only ever met 3 - but the name pops up more now I think in the media.
