Equus is definately touring next year as it is listed in Chichester 31st January - 9th February. Will be Theatre Royal Bath Production where it will kick off the tour at the beginning of January.

That's great news; I'd given up hope. Is it currently just the 2 venues confirmed?

It's noticeable that whilst mentioning RichardGriffiths and Daniel Radcliffe, the publicity dosn't say who is in the tour

When the tour was previously announced, it was apparently some chap off Coronation Street named Richard Fleeschman.  I hope they go for someone with some stage experience instead. Even a recent drama school graduate could pass for 17; it didn't stop them in the original production, with Peter Firth playing Alan Strang well into his twenties.

If you check the CFT website you'll see that it's being produced by David Pugh and Dafydd Rogers - responsible for the West End production - and not Theatre Royal Bath productions. So whilst it's pretty certain that EQUUS will play Bath at some point during the tour it won't be necassarily be opening there.

The production is also touring to the King's in Edinburgh but it's unannounced as it's in the next booking period, which is presumably the same elsewhere, and is why so few know about it across Britain.
