Well considering her track record of missing a good 3rd of Shrek Performances in NYC the producers would be stupid to bring Sutton Foster over to do it here!

I think the UK's original Gary Coleman would make a stunning Donkey (Can't remember his name sorry)

I like the thought of Sheridan as Fiona - it needs a quirky comedy actress as the part is actually very funny!

Brain Darcy James made the role of Shrek complete in the NYC production I cant off the top of my head think of anyone to fill Shrek's boots just yet.

If I was to argue the case for one of the Original members to reprise his role it would be Chris Seiber he was sensational and has recently been spotted in and around London at various events!!

This is my street, I smile at the faces I've known all my life, They regard me with pride.

OMG Julie Atherton MUST get Fiona!!! She's the best!!!!!!!  biggrin.gif

OMG If she does I won't be going. Can't think of anything worse than hearing her sing the entire score of Shrek from that nasal, screechy, strained sounding voice of hers.

Shame - because she's a good actress and a lovely person! I'm just not a fan of her voice.

I think Lorna Want would be brilliant. Just a personal thought.

Giles Terera. He would indeed make an Excellent donkey, and infact thinking of it I couldn't think of anyone better for the role.

I'd like to see Thomas Goodridge take on Donkey. But who for Lord Farquadd?

Am I the only one who doesn't want this to come over.... There are so many more (better) shows that I believe could succeed over here.

I agree.  It doesn't appeal to me at all.  I think the only way I'd go see it is if Julie was in it.

Joe's taken Flashdance but is still auditioning for Shrek.

News to him! But he would love the role.

They're not auditioning yet though.
