I'm interested in how each production handles the bear in the same way I'm interested in how they handle the statue scene. It's one of those things where I'm intrigued to see what their approach is, but I wouldn't judge a production on it. Does anyone? It gets talked about, but not for that reason.
Just re-reading that - "how each production handles the bear" - for some reason made me chuckle; sounds like a euphemism (for what, I don't know).

I'd apply it to almost all Beckett (even though I quite like the diagrams)
