Ahh okay.  I didn't recognise your username that's all.  Obviously I was here before - as you'll know if you read the board.

Actually I don't but then it was never that clear on the old board who was who and I just read the messages and not who they were by.

I don't know where to put this so I guess this thread is okay - why is the person icon next to my username in red whereas most people's are grey?

Because you've told the system you are a male, whereas the grey one's are confused/trans/not chosen yet...

But I haven't that's what's confusing me.  I've got my gender as not set.

i assume that red means 'online now', grey means 'not online now'

i think gender is only displayed if you click on someone's name to view their profile (and then only if you choose it to be)

But I'm sure some people are grey when they're actually posting!

Or maybe they just post then go offline really really quickly.

i'm online and posting, but have selected 'do not show me in active users list' when i logged in, so it doesn't show me as online (although clearly i am, because i'm posting)

if you're online, and showing in the online users list, then your little person will show red

Oh I see.  Why have so many people gone invisible.  If I'm the only one showing up then I'm gonna have to go invisible as well.  rolleyes.gif
