So Kerry Ellis' first album came out yesterday.  Has anyone bought it?  What do you think?

I think it's great:)  A good mix of musical theatre and rock.  Really shows off Kerry's voice.

I've heard the songs (my actual album still hasn't arrived yet unsure.gif ), and.... just, WOW.  There isn't a bad song on there, I absolutely adore them all.  I was never too keen on I'm Not That Girl when it's sung in Wicked, but Kerry, the incredible woman she is, has even got me really liking that!  I'm addicted to Dangerland at the moment, but I also really like You Have To Be There, so I suspect that will be having its day very soon!!

It's the best album of any genre I've heard in a very song time, I can honestly say there's not a single song that I don't love... Go Kerry!! wub.gif

I went to see the 'Anthems' tour in Gateshead last night.. Just....W O W!!! Kerry was absolutely sensational! She received a full-house standing ovation after 'No One But You' and 'Anthem', not to mention quite a lot of people giving her a standing ovation after Somebody To Love. Everyone was on their feet for We Will Rock You , and another Queen song she did to close the show. Absolutely phenomenal, and she was lovely at Stage Door too - managed to sign and have photos with everyone that wanted them, despite there being a pretty huge crowd of us and the body guard failing to organise us into a queue. Well worth the money and then some!!

Hanzicles - it would seem that they have sorted out the technical difficulties that plagued Liverpool's performance. However after never really being a Kerry Ellis fan was surprised by here and have since bought the album, so all good! - glad you enjoyed!
This is my street, I smile at the faces I've known all my life, They regard me with pride.
