Thanks a lot - yeah I am going cos it is the 1st professtion production that has been in Swindon for more than 1 day.....

They are doing 12 performances that week....

I am hoping it will sell well and the Wyvern might consider having more touring shows there!

The Kenwright production of Joseph is truly awful.

80% of the blame lies with Kenwright, but I'd give a good 20% to Henry "I can't choreograph" Metcalfe".

Tackiest, nastiest excuse for a musical I've ever seen.

How can Keith Jack be the Narrator as that part is usually played by a woman? Also glad to see Henry still with the show, I remember once seeing the show when he went on as one of the brothers, about 20 years older than anyone else on stage but still cutting his funky stuff.

Generic comment questioning his masculinity.

There's no reason why the narrator needs to be a woman so why shouldn't it be a man? It does leave the show feeling distinctly male-heavy, but if the production team don't see that as a problem then why not?
I have always hated eggs. I remember back when I was a sperm I tried to head-butt one. It did not end well.

Many years ago the part of the Narrator was played by a man and it was only when it was revamped in the Jason/Linzi era that the Narrator was played by a female.

Personally Keith didn't do anything for me on ADWD but reports I have heard back have said he is suprisingly good.

I'm not going to see the touring version myself so can't comment on his abilities one way or the other.

I agree wholeheartedly.  Last time I saw Kenwrights production I was truly appalled at how utterly rubbish it was in just about every way.  Nothing would ever entice me to a return visit especially not the casting of Craig Craig Chalmers who was by far the weakest of all the contestants on Any Dream Will Do.

I won't be called a baggage!

Kenwright has this thing about always wanting his Joseph to be a blond though. Having worked on it, I have to agree it's a terrible show for a truly horrible production company who treat you like s***. And Henry Metcalfe is one of the nastiest people in the business - leching over the dancing girls and generally being vile...

To be honest, I'm surprised it continues to tour.  If I was a writer of musicals and someone toured a production of my show as dreadful as Kenwright's Joseph I would have done everything in my power to have had it shut down.
I won't be called a baggage!
