I've seen Eleanor Worthington-Cox, Chloe Hawthorn and Hayley Canham. All 3 were excellent as were the other kids in the production.

Hayley Canham, though I cant recall Adrianna Bertola's performance at Stratford.
My reviews can also be found at "A Night at the Theatre"

My favourite of those I've seen was Sophia Keily - they're all amazing but she was outstanding

I think the biggest obstacle in an Australian (or US) touring production is getting the desks/chairs rising out of the stage. I know the Crown Theatre in Perth (where I hope the production starts!) isn't really equipped for "trapdoor"/"sub-stage" productions, as seen in previous productions of Mary Poppins and Wicked. I think most other cities in Australia, except Sydney and Melbourne, would face similar issues.

How do you think they can solve this problem?

Has anyone seen Cristina Fray or Elise Blake perform?

Yep I saw Cristina Fray on Friday and was seriously impressed!! She's really good!! (not surprising I guess given she's playing Matilda but still). She's up there with Sophia as one of my favourtie Matildas.

I'd forgotten what a great show it is, loved David Leonard as Miss Trunchbull :)

I wanted to go and see this when I was in London earlier this month, but not surprisingly for a Wednesday matinee in the school holidays it was completely sold out! I will have to plan my next trip for outside of the holidays and try again. I loved how the signs in the theatre for Stalls and Dress Circle looked like they were written in chalk, and how which children would be performing were listed in chalk. Hope I get to see this soon!

I saw Elise Blake last week. She was good. Really cute, good singer. I do think Lara Wollington and Isobelle Molloy still are my favourites, but all the children in Matilda are fantastic. Never seen a bad or even slightly halfhearted performance.
