There wouldn't be any visible reaction unless the 17 votes were enough to bump up the voting percentage by at least 1% - and I very much doubt 17 votes would be enough for that, especially if the nominee in question has had lots of people voting for them.  Your friends' votes will be in the system, just not visible because of the % method of giving the vote figures.

I agree but it should have move at least 'point' 1 percent 'not a full One, a point percent. I watched it, the person's we voted for went down and another's went up????

What I mean is this....22.1% the vote goes down  to 22%   i.e....'point' 1% lower...not even a full point, just a 'point percent' if you know what I mean

Probably because people were voting for that person as well, and there are more of them than there are of you so it pushes your favourite's share of the vote down. Think of the first two votes cast: the first vote pushes the votee to 100%, but the second (if for a different person) causes the early leader to fall to 50%.

There has been vote-rigging in the WoS votes in the past, but from the side of the voters: people trying to vote multiple times, people getting their relatives to vote on their behalf, and so on. In one of the early awards the forum was flooded with complaints from fans of one performer who were furious that they weren't being allowed to fix the vote in his favour.
I have always hated eggs. I remember back when I was a sperm I tried to head-butt one. It did not end well.

Have you considered there could quite possibly being dozens voting for someone else at the same time...??

Hi,

About 10,000 people have already voted. Not everyone votes in every category and thus some percentages will move on the basis of 17 votes but some of the other categories won't move at all on that basis.

All the basis.

Hang on. After I voted, I couldn't see the percentages - it just said the winners would be announced at the ceremony. Why can't I see them? I'm logged in and everything.

Results so far are here:

http://awards.whatso...dex.php?pg=1084

They usually take that page down a few weeks before voting closes so you don't actually know who's going to win each award, but you have a fairly good idea.

Thank you very much, Marius. I see it's the usual cattle stampede for anyone and everything that's been on the telly.

where it says vote at the top [in yellow] you click on that and a down menu comes on and you can click to look at the results so far

No, that doesn't heppen for me. It says "Vote now for this year's winners" in yellow (or gold as they would probably like us to describe it) but it isn't clickable for me. I'm trying hard not to take it personally.
