I enjoy seeing what some performers have to say on twitter and I like how it keeps followers informed of when they are off etc. I know this is slightly off topic but don't performers get told what is/isn't acceptable behaviour on social media, either in training or by the company manager?

Seeing the new cast tomorrow, and can't wait. I know it's all to taste but I've listened to the West End Live footage on YouTube and I think all the new members sound strong. Big voices all round!

Just some quick thoughts on last nights new Les Mis cast. Hugely impressed with Fantine's voice (Na-Young Jeon) I think her enthusiastic acting will settle down but I really like her. Enjolras (Anton Zetterholm) has a strong voice at full belt, a little accent work would improve it but hey Geronimo has been pronouncing things with an accent from the start so I guess it's OK.  I like Marius (Rob Houchen), v young and naive just how he should be, there were parts where I thought he wobbled slightly but I'm sure that will abate once he's settled into the role. So on the whole a promising start. I'll go back when there's a new JVJ as I don't think Geronimo will be there much longer.

Oh and I forgot to mention Wendy Fergusson who I think is well suited to Madam T.

So, if all the gushing on tumblr is to be believed, Zetterholm is the new Thaxton. Not in terms of performance, but in terms of the next big thing (in terms of fandom I guess).

Thoughts on this?
