I saw him last week. Wasn't impressed I'm afraid. Nice voice but his acting just wasn't for me. I've posted my opinion on the new cast in my blog in case you want to have a read (link is on my profile page).

Hello all.

I am about to book tickets for Les Mis for seats on the end of Row C - Stage Left if you are looking at the stage from the audience.

It says slightly restricted view due to rail? I checked the interactive map and the rail is simply a stair rail and not one across the entire row. The seats still carry a price tag of about £50. Is this message of slightly restricted view more for the theatre to just cover themselves or?

Blood Brothers (UK Tour, 2013) Sister Act (UK Tour, 2013) Cats (UK Tour, 2013)

Upcoming:

Birdland (Royal Court, 2014) Skylight (West End, 2014) Let The Right One In (West End, 2014) One Man Two Guvnors (UK Tour, 2014) Barnum (UK Tour, 2014)

Stage Left if you are looking at the stage? House Right then (the lower numbers of each row)? Stage Left/Right/Centre is when you're on stage looking into the audience...
It sounds like you're talking about the Dress Circle for the price of £50 (correct me if I'm wrong)... You may miss some parts of the stage (not that much is happening on the House Right side, though) or feel like the rail is a bit of a distraction as it will be right next to you and curve inwards if I remember correctly, but it shouldn't be too bad. £50 are too expensive in my opinion and there are better seats for the same price or less but as you're looking for more than one, I suppose those are about as good as you'll find if you don't want to pay full price.

I was looking at Row C - end of the row, 24 and 25. I dont think, I mean I would always sacrifice my view for my beloved, haha!
I don't think the rail should be too much of a distraction. it seems close enough anyway really.

I used the Les Mis seat viewer and it seems an okay view.

Thank you for your help!! I really appreciate it.

Oh, okay, House Left/Stage Right... there's a bit of action happening on that side but the view should be okay. You get the idea from the seat viewer, I'd definitely pick the other side (House Right, the lower numbers) but it won't ruin your night. :)

Is there any information on why the sudden Valjean change? I know Geronimo is the new Phantom from September but the information on the Les Mis website concerning the June cast change said that he would be continuing http://www.lesmis.co...n-the-west-end/ and there has been no subsequent announcement. Had been hoping to see him again as JVJ :(

anyone see niall sheehy as enjolras? for someone so twitter confidant i expected more his performance first time or not. it was lacking in power, sexiness... enjolras is an alpha male and i'm afraid i was hugely underwhelmed. his voice just dorsn't have the strength.
