Rumour is from digitalspy.co.uk we're getting some duets to tickle our little theatrical tastebuds this week...I'll put their words into spoilers for anyone who doesn't wish to know what the pairings are said to be.

Getting interesting... Anyone heard word on what the songs are likely to be?

Hmmm...

I'm predicting tears and that key change that's MEANT to send shivers down your spine to be horribly cracked as a result...

Lets just hope they do some musical theatre stuff. I still think the pop song idea is ridiculous when they're auditioning for a West End role, it's not as if there are'nt a variety of MT songs that would do. Surely the majority of the audience watching this on TV are musical theatre fans, so why not sing musical theatre songs. Bloody BBc dumbing down everything! Rant over lol! rolleyes.gif

I suspect not, not only because I know that theatre is nowhere near as popular among the general public as I'd like, but also because I can't reconcile the way the voting has been going with the idea that a significant number of the voting audience have a clue about musical theatre.

Or about anything else, come to that.

I have always hated eggs. I remember back when I was a sperm I tried to head-butt one. It did not end well.

Well if that is the case, I'm still of the opinion that they should do musical theatre songs and tough on the non-musical loving viewers, maybe they'll be enlightened! lol

Some of those songs sound like good choices and I'm definitely happy with the duet pairings.

I have to say I think the pairings are a bit predictable. Would have been nice to see them shake things up a bit but that's just my opinion...
