Long Day's Journey Into Night

That's a bit sad. Obviously a big theatre but I saw an offer for the Milton Keynes run as well. There was barely a seat to be had in Richmond for the whole run.
Personally I thought Suchet was great and as someone else said, Act IV, (the first half of the second half) WOW. I can't imagine seeing a better scene for the rest of this year. Those 2 guys had the whole audience in the palm of their hand. You could have heard a pin-drop.

Having been hooked by Anna Christie last year, it was great to get another fix of O'Neill. Lacerating script, brilliantly performed - Laurie Metcalf probably takes top honours, but they are all superb. Really heartening to see such high quality theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue.
