I recieved this via email today from the BBC, has anyone else ever heard of this happening before?

Voters required for this Saturday's I'd Do Anything (31 May)

We would like to invite you to be part of our backup voters for I'd Do Anything on Saturday 31st May.

The BBC is required to arrange a group of independent people to watch the show in a room separate from the studio. These people will then watch the show on Television as it goes out live and take part in a paper vote on who is their favourite Nancy. The reason for this is that should we have any problems with the telephone voting system we would need to turn to this vote for our result.

Light snacks and drinks will be provided.

Those wishing to attend will need to be at Television Centre by 5.15pm. They will be met in reception and escorted to the private room where they will watch the show and released after the Results show at 9.15pm.

Please respond by 4pm today, Friday 30th May by calling the BBC Ticket Line on 0870 901 1227*.

Kind regards

BBC Studio Audiences
