Would never have been financially viable in a smaller venue!

I would have imagined the outgoings for this to be significantly higher than Idina, Hamlisch and the RPO; and the RFH about half the capacity of the RAH! Maybe Mahler gets some public and/or private sponsorship :rolleyes:

I was thinking specifically of the comedy versions of Happy Birthday, which got a mixed response where I was (people had perhaps lost a bit of patience). In my opinion that sort of thing is best with just a few people around a piano.
