i see ben barnes has left the west end production, to be replaced by jamie king

quite happy about that really.. i think jamie's dakin is a million miles better than ben's. there's just no comparison.
whether or not it is clear to you,

I'm going to see this next Thursday matinee.

I saw it during the first run at the NT and so I am looking to see how well its faring.

I think Jamie King is just a temporary replacement. A young actor about to graduate from the RSAMD called Andrew Hawley (I'm pretty sure that's his name) has been cast as Dakin to start rehearsing this week for a take over so Jamie King is just filling in until he's ready.

yeh, i think the article says jamie's in it til the end of march or so

neither are any special compared to the original dakin

I'm interested to see the new new Dakin, it's always cool to see just graduated actors. I agree none of the other Dakins have so far lived up to the ridiculously charismatic Dominic Cooper!
He used to call me Blue Roses.

Running time is 2 hours 45 mins.

It was a really good play! New Dakin is Jamie Thomas King who played the role at NT and on tour too. Was very good. Haven't seen Dominic Cooper play the role so can't compare.
