I read somewhere that they had extended until September but were now closing in April............ but can't remember where I saw that. Might have been one of the free papers.

I've read that The History Boys is being re-mounted at the Wyndham's from December 20/07 to April 26/08.

What with the original National Theatre production, UK tours, film version, West End run (which I saw this past March)... you British people certainly like that show! I love it myself, but aside from the limited Broadway run with the original cast (which I didn't get to see), I haven't heard of many (any?) North American productions--and certainly not in my hometown Toronto. Why is there no Toronto production or North American tour?! A six-time Tony Award-winning play. You would think there would be all sorts of regional productions or a major tour. What gives?

The play did incredibly well last time it was in town. It played it's full run. Lots of performances were standing room only (which is unheard of apart from at the Donmar). They didn't extend as expected, but Bennett sells. 'The History Boys' sells.

What more evidence is required, please?
