Has anyone been to anything in the Studio here?

I'm finding the booking system a little confusing; it seems to be unreserved seating, yet there are different prices & a gallery.

Is this a seated-at-tables space? Any advice...

Not been there, but it's unreserved seats at tables at different levels - details on theatremonkey

I received lousy service last night in the restaurant and when we complained the manager didn't want to know. I won't be buying their overpriced food again ...

Broadway has been very good to me. But then, I've been very good to broadway.

Was it the restaurant upstairs or the bar restaurant?

Hmm.  I've eaten there a couple of times and the only problem has been the shortage of wait staff for a very busy room.  Sorry you had a bad experience.

Good luck with that. I've found the St James' customer service to be, at times, quite frankly appalling.

Luck was on my side as we got a free two course meal out of it

Better than what I received from them. When I emailed them to complain about something, they opened their reply with:

"I wish I had that much time in my day to spend in writing such emails."
