I've only seen 10 of the shows on the list and of those "Phantom of the Opera" wins the worst title by a short nose from "Guys and Dolls".
Which way did he go McGill?

Dont think Marius needs to explain or apology, worst means worst - theatre has to be assessed through a critical eye and we have all seen really terrible shows over the years. God dont let PCism enter this kind of debate ! Look at the votes ! one of the most popular polls to date.

There doesn't really appear to be one outright winner. Its all very close. Just goes to show that people do have different tastes and opinions.

Well although I've seen most of the shows on the list - I havn't seen them all so I havn't voted. That would be like criticising something you havn't personally seen. However, the shows I havn't seen tend to be the shows which either don't personally appeal or the ones which I think may be poor and therefore I save my money. Dirty Dancing falls into the latter category. But I couldn't comment on its quality as I have never seen it!

I have seen Dirty Dancing and I have to say it is a far better show than many on Marius' list. It really did surprise me as I wasn't entirely sure what to expect. It had great production values, great performances, really great music and choreography and overall was a brilliant night at a very fun show! It goes to show that you shouldn't judge a show you haven't seen...

I have just voted but have to admit I felt guilty about saying something was really bad as all the show have something good about them. I ended up voting for the show I have not yest seen.
