How's the new leading lady?

Excellent. Saw it last night and I was dreading it, as I saw Chambers and Strallen early into the Aldwych run and didn't like either of them. Gavin Lee is great and Kristen Beth Williams is just effortlessly lovely. They have great chemistry. It made it a whole different show.

I didn't think she was quite as brilliant as Summer but still really good. If I hadn't seen both to be able to compare them I'd say she was fantastic ;)

I don't get the Strallen adoration, never have. Not for any of them.

It's a very classy show... I loved it. Would be intrigued to see the new cast. The costumes were sublime ..

Gavin Lee was amazing in Mary Poppins, can't believe he stayed 8 years in the role on Broadway!

And he'd already been in it for 3 years or so in London!! Somehow I don't think he's going to match that as Jerry Travers

I agree about Summer being a bit cold, but it worked somewhat for Dale. Scarlett & Zizi I think are wonderful, Scarlett I find very endearing and Zizi is a phenomenal dancer.

I haven't seen this cast yet but I intend to, for Alex as Alberto!

I'm finally getting the chance to see this next week. I've heard mixed reviews from friends who have been to see it, so I'm reserving judgment for now!

I know that's where I saw him! But to stay in such an energetic role continuously for a long time is definately an achievement. I can imagine this role also requires a huge amount of energy, so (forgive the pun) HATS OFF TO HIM for coming straight into this from Poppins!
