It was always going to be a limited run, so I'm not quite sure where you're getting the 'kicked out' from...

Yeah I knew it was but it's just a shame that a show so excellent as Sweeney will leave so soon and be replaced by this which doesn't sound as great. I'll be happy to be proven wrong though!

I want to see it just to see Heather Headley live but I'm not sure if it'll be a long runner especially at the Adelphi.

VERY cheeky billing it as a "new musical" - HARDLY!

Not when it's very much a jukebox musical, featuring songs from a soundtrack album plus an artist's back catalogue.

But it's still a new musical.

I can't think of many shows that have used a single persons or grouos back catalogue to weave around a movie. The only one springing to mind is Blondie with Desperately seeking Susan.

And more importantly for people wanting to see Heather, there is an alternate and holiday dates are up for Headley

The producers of The Bodyguard cannot guarantee the appearance of any particular artist, which is always subject to illness and holidays. Heather Headley is expected to appear at all performances excluding Monday 12 & Monday 19 November, Tuesday 4 December 3:00pm, Monday 21 - Wednesday 23 January inclusive, Monday 18 – Saturday 23 March inclusive, and all Wednesday matinees.
