I really like Debbie Kurup, seen her in a few things. Remember her being on as the lead in Sister Act, I was disappointed I couldn't see Patina Miller but she was fab! I'm still not sure about seeing this though, nothing against the show itself just that there are so many new shows I want to see and live out of London so only make limited trips :(

I saw Beverley Knight being interviewed on TV yesterday and she seemed delightful.. May have to return to see her in it after all.

A cancelled Saturday matinee apparently!  The "matinee" leading lady was off it, and everyone else was away.  Someone's for the highjump!

Can the evening star not do a matinee as well? Even in exceptional circumstances?

Sounds as if she wasn't even in the theatre.  Why on earth they didn't have an understudy is completely inexplicable - what would have happened if the leading lady had got injured mid-show?!

That is piss poor from the theatre. For londoners not so bad but alot of people would have travelled from afar for this, some even staying overnight

The evening performance presumably went ahead, so someone was fit and ready to perform.....
