It's amazing cast and should be well worth a risk, especially if you can get a deal on the ticket price. I think Ambassador may well have another hit on their hands at the Comedy - good to see a theatre specialising in its nominated market!  biggrin.gif

And who could see that the road would twist

Saw this last night.  It was hysterically funny.  Just amazing to see such top class actors doing such a silly play and raising its game so high.  Mark Rylance, Frances de la Tour and Michele Gomez are amazing.

I agree - completely hilarious evening (though I suspect the uproarious press night audience full of friends of the cast helped - but I laughed my head off). And, Michael Coveney, the line that Robert says which apparently makes his "mouth open like a little flower" is not "Impossible to say" but "It's not impossible"! Unforgettable.

'Boeing Boeing' got a glowing review in today's 'Guardian' from Michael Billington.

By the way, isn't Michelle Gomez, mentioned upthread, also in the cast of 'Hotel Babylon' which started its second series on BBC1 last night? If not, the two names are similar. Now I write that, I've realised that Tamsin Outhwaite is in 'Hotel Babylon' and 'Boeing Boeing'.

Forgive me, Skylight, if I am wrong but aren't you the one who in our previous WOS life wouldn't reveal your 'identity? I was wondering how you obtain so many freebies and why you might have to pay for BB. Maybe everyone else knows and I'm being slow here. Anyway, I always enjoy your posts and the advice. By the way, where is Job? Is he on the site now, have I just missed him or has he disappeared into cyberspace? Anyone know?

Yuss indeed. Like I said last time, I'm no one but I know people who are and if I gave myself away I wouldn't be able to say what I really think. (Plus Admin knows me; though he doesn't know he does. unsure.gif  ) Freebies come with knowing people who are. I got into the previews of BB (more than once  tongue.gif  ) but I can't blag any more tickets now it's opened. Simple.

Nope.  Who's that then?

Seriously I won't say partly because of the fact that I'd have to censor myself and also because the admin on another site turned out to be my old tutor and it was all rather embarrassing; ****ing massive site as well - what are the chances. blink.gif
