Broadway Shows - Newsies And One Man, Two Guvnors

I've booked flights to New York for my birthday in November and am currently deciding what show I want to see. One of the things I do like the look of is Newsies but have noticed that it is only a "strictly limited season" that finishes in August, however on wikipedia it mentions that it could become open-ended if it gets a good reception. So basically is it doing well and is an open ended run likely? What would also be the chances if it happens to do well at the Tony's next month?
Another show I like the look of is One Man Two Guvnors (I know it's not a musical) but that looks like its in the same position as Newsies. So basically could that also end up becoming open ended as well? Hope it will do better in the Tony's than it did last night at the Olivier's!

As for One Man, it may very well do what they have done over here, and re-open it with it a new cast, or the original cast may continue. It's still in previews and it's too early to say whether or not it will be a hit!

No I'm not really too bothered about seeing James (although I'm sure he's great in it) but it is a show I've wanted to see for a while now and seeing as there isn't much else I'd like to see on Broadway I just thought I might aswell see it, but if it's not on by then I'll just see it on the UK tour in Cardiff anyways..
Thanks for the Newsies advice though! Hopefully it will extend but I suppose we'll just have to wait and see.

Yes! Book of Mormon is also another show I'd like to see (even though the rest of my family don't) but thanks for that advice I'll try it!

Wow youre right about Book of Mormon! Just checking availability for the week I go in November and finding it hard to get just two cheaper priced seats! I have noticed they do a "lottery" is that the same as Rush seats?
