Apparently its Jersey Boys transferring into the Pic. Seems Cameron has got his way as this will allow Saigon to move into the Edward. All change :)

Can't wait to see Saigon back in town!!

Surely there will be a filler before that happens.

Im really glad that the talented ensemble members of Vivas cast are being set free to pursue other options. I know a job is a job but it must be particularly soul crushing to be in this.

I guess the advance sales must have been awful for Judy Craymer to pull the plug.

It is what it is I suppose. It's not brilliant theatre but I did enjoy it. At least they tried. It's sad to think out of all those involved, it all comes down to Jennifer Saunders' script - everyone else was on top of their game otherwise (well, maybe set design was a bit off too). I wonder if it will tour or transfer?
If I stay awake, it must be good.

It might find enough of an audience on a tour - but it would take a brave producer to take that risk!

It really shouldn't have been pushed into production standing as it was, there's no way the book should ever have made it onto stage. Workshops are the time to weed the duff content out, this could have all turned out much differently if they had another workshop or two and improved it.

Always a shame for cast and crew to lose their jobs, hopefully a filler production can be found for the Piccadilly very quickly.

Are there any likely candidates which are finishing tours in the next couple of months?

I wouldn't be surprised if 9 to 5 fills in for the summer as its ATG produced.
