Actually looking at 9 to 5's tour dates, it doesn't finish until late August so it wouldn't be able to come in until September at the earliest.

I guess the advance sales must have been awful for Judy Craymer to pull the plug.

They are basically giving away seats at the moment and even that isn't pulling people in.

It's a shame, actually, because a musical based on the Spice Girls musical could have been a HUGE hit if handled correctly. Although I'm pretty tired of Jukebox musicals now anyway...

Starlight Express ends its UK tour this weekend, I believe xD! I'd love to see it come back to London, even for a short time. I'm surprised there hasn't been a London revival already considering it tours every few years and tickets always sell extremely well.

Dates wise, that is the likeliest candidate, I think. It opened to strong reviews yesterday too, and Chichester have been transferring pretty much everything lately :-)

Big venue though. Maybe baz might have something tomorrow. I guess to be closing they must have something else lined up

Thought the savoy comment was unlikely and illogical

Yes, it is often the case that the cast are the least to blame for a flop as they work their socks off to make the material work. But the writing is everything and as the saying goes "you can't polish a turd!"
