I知 a big fan of Seussical, I know it flopped on Broadway but the music is great. Does anyone know of any professional productions happening in this country?

There's a production in Southport in April; see this link from our local paper

Interesting - but with respect not a professional production. Could be a long way to travel for an amateur production.

Thanks for the link. I am in an Amateur Production of it in Cornwall at the end of the month and would love to see a professional take on it.

This is kicking off on the amateur circuit as fast as The Witches of Eastwick - it's absolutely everywhere!

I directed this last year and we had a great time. Honestly dont think you will see a pro production due to the very american nature of the show and its appeal. But the audiences seemed to enjoy it very much and we had a cracking cast !"

I know you can't directly compare them but I was surpirsed Avenue Q has done as well as it has in the west end because that has very American nature as well.

When you did your production did have problems with your scores, lib and conductors, because the dialog and the music doesn't match up in each book.
