see below what The Royal Court says re new play by Mr Butterworth, he of Jerusalem
Are they , in current parlance, having a laugh?

I've already ranted and moaned about this on the Royal Court Autumn 2012 Season thread, but yes, it seems ridiculous. Members should disown them.

I guess it's the fault of all those articles about the overnight day ticket queues for Jerusalem

Good way of killing off their membership scheme anyway!

I have my beefs with the way the RC do their bookings.  But as a non-member, I have no issue with this really.  I'll just do what I did with Constellations, pick a day and get half of my team in the office trying for tickets.  It worked, and that was fairly late in the run.
If, for some strange reason you care what I've seen, it's all here:

I think it's a ridiculous idea, and what makes me crossest is that I'm definitely going to be trying for online tickets on any day I'm free in the evening for as long as it takes. I'd rather not miss out on a play that sounds interesting, even if that means I can't punish the RC by withholding my money. :(

Do we know how many tickets it'll be per person yet?

So they've gone and cast Dominic West and Miranda Raison in this, no doubt making it even tougher to get tickets!!

It'll have to wait 'til after Mr West has done My Fair Lady in Sheffield, if it does (if we're assuming the cast would stay on, that is). This whole no advance booking this is now p*ssing me off even more!
