It won't be White Christmas as that show is already booked in to a lengthy Christmas slot at The Lowry.
This is my street, I smile at the faces I've known all my life, They regard me with pride.

I listened to MusicalTalk's interview with Marc Shaiman and it's going to be mostly based on the book with elements from both films, Warner Bros owns the film and stage rights hence why they're the lead producer. I think it has the potential to be great, it is likely be a visual treat but they need great songs which isn't a problem as it's Shaiman and Wittman and also a strong cast especially for Wonka and Charlie.

Well if they only include 1 song from "Willy Wonka...", it has got to be Golden Ticket!

I've just remembered how good Rowan Atkinson was as Fagin in Oliver. I think he'd be a great Willy Wonka!

I would hate Lee Mead to be Wonka!

Which they won't... as it's a new musical.

Oh lord-isn't it time he retired!? I think Scrooge is quite fun-but I don't want to see him as part of a Christmas treat!

Scrooge is a great show, but really, they couldn't find a better star. Even Shane Richie was better in this
