Yes, need to get down to the front quickly though. They have a very strict cut off point no matter how many are in the queue. Went back with a school party last week and they didn't allow any photographs this time but I did manage to get all 80 of them onto the stage to meet Old Deut in groups of 6 - 10.
I can't think out of the box as I don't have a box to start with.

Just seen some footage of this online and there seems to be steps down to the audience, do the cast come out around the audience??

I saw the show when it was in Edinburgh in February and there were numerous occasions when the cast interacted with the audience and would dance and run through the aisles in the stalls. Old Deut also stayed on the stage throughout the 15 minute interval where a limited number of the audience were permitted to go up and get him to sign their programme. Photos weren't permitted though.

Any chance of this purring its way onto a west end stage?
If I stay awake, it must be good.

Saw this in Wolverhampton and loved it. I know it is not everyone's cup of tea but it is one of my favourites. All the cast were great but I do wish they'd cut down some of the Gus/Growltiger/Billy Macaw section - it goes on for 18 minutes!!! The cast do come in to the stalls during the show (there were also some in the royal circle during the overture). Joanna Ampil was great during Memory, a lot of emotion in that and the dancing from the cast was outstanding, particularly during the Jellicle Ball. The audience was a right mixed bunch of ages and everyone seemed to enjoy it.

Glasgow King's Theatre has been added to tour. :)
Yet another chance to see it.
I can't think out of the box as I don't have a box to start with.
