Now seems to be a really good time to go and see London theatre. The area is apparently frequently quiet due to the huge tourist focus on the Olympic park in the East End and the reluctance of many out-of-towners to travel to Central London/the West End due to fear of congestion. This is, apparently, not the case. I would encourage anyone to take advantage of this unique time and take in some of the wonders of the West End (I certainly am this weekend).

In addition to this, many shows are doing superb offers to boost ticket sales during the Olympics. I'll try and list some below in the hope that shows get the support they need (with the closing announcement of Dress Circle, it is clear that this is an unstable time for everybody).

These are all from @BargainTheatre on twitter. Would be nice to credit them seeing as it's copied and pasted from their blog! Lots more similar offers there.

I was actually going to mention that although I compiled a lot of these myself (these websites are not inaccessible) some of them did come from Bargain Theatre (but were not copied and pasted from their blog), a good follow for anyone looking for good, cheap tickets year round.

For those who don't have Twitter, I hope you find this helpful. This was not intended to be self-promoting in anyway, I'm merely trying to encourage business in the West End.

In addition to this, I have made use of both those GHOST and Sweeney Todd offers and have excellent Stalls seats for both in just under two weeks' time. I would definitely recommend them.
