Loserville is apparently the show that got the Garrick over Blood Brothers, who were looking to move there.  It would be a shame to lose Blood Brothers is this doesn't do well.

But who said Blood Brothers would have done well? It could equally be said to be a shame to lose a brand new musical if Blood Brothers didn't do well.

I'm very excited about this, however, they need to announce it properly and get tickets onsale soon.

I also saw it in Leeds and really enjoyed it - very different from anything else. Will be interested to see who is playing Eddie - Gareth Gates did it in Leeds and was excellent, but I think he's busy for the rest of the year.

This could possibly do with a name to help sell it and sensible pricing (think avenue q). It's got potential but they need to be clever with the producing

Sorry to be the damp squib here, but having seen this in Leeds, I think it will go the way of Bat-Boy and Bad Girls and recieve an early exit from the West End. That is unless there are some major rewrites, changes in direction and a massive name in the cast.

It is not awful by any means, but neither does it have anything to recommend it over other West End shows, and it was not even rewarded with packed houses in Leeds.
The engine roared, the motor hissed,
And who could see that the road would twist

I saw it in Leeds too and loved it.( A perfect feel good musical in these austerity measure times).
I did think the Leeds Playhouse lended itself to the set too. On a high platform with a few tweeks it could work very well.
I for one would love to go and see it on a West End stage. Just hope others do too.
There was a topic here with a bits and pieces in it  http://www.whatsonst...961-loserville/

I'm so pleased this is transerring to the west end :)  And I'm glad most of the cast have stayed on.
I saw it in Leeds and really enjoyed it, it's a great show.  I hope I get the chance to see it again while it's  on London.

It's pricey, and with no names they are up against it
