Genuinely, good luck to them.  The song on the video is good (Best American-Sounding British Musical), but if the production values are akin to those in the clips, I can't see people forking out £65 in a hurry.

Set was very simplistic at Leeds, but was effective. Wonder if they will still be using the cardboard cutouts which may be difficult to see from the upper levels.

Just clicked on the link and it doesnt show £70.85 to me. The top price is £45 Mon - Thurs and £49.50 on Fri & Sats. The link i have here shows a weekend price, i see no mention of premium seats there -  http://www.ticketmas...&minorcatid=207

I think they've been clever with their pricing actually. The £65 you mention is for a very limited number of premium seats, the top price actually being £45 for weekdays and £49.50 on Saturdays - surely the lowest for a West End musical?

AND, they have loads of seats for only £25 - this from the press release:

"25,000 tickets to Loserville will be available for £25 or less during the first booking period, which runs until 2 March 2013. Nica Burns, CEO of Nimax Theatres, which owns the Garrick, said: “I had a ball when I saw this show at West Yorkshire Playhouse. Be daring! For only £25 you too can discover this fresh, fizzy, fun and delightfully original contemporary musical with a young cast bursting with talent.  If you aren’t 25, you’ll feel like it!”

Wish them luck!

I agree with you. The pricing is clever, its much lower than other musicals in the West End, infact they are cheaper than some straight plays. Its a great show (I saw it in Leeds) with a great young cast and I wish them every success at the Garrick.

Thanks for this link, and yes it does show £70.85 BUT that is still for a premium seat and not the regular top price which is £45 Mon-Thurs and £49.50 Fri/Sat from the box office .

If you want to compare prices with other musicals and use the premium prices from Ticketmaster, then Loserville is still far cheaper than other musicals for a premium seat, where prices on a weekend are Mamma Mia! £104.00, Shrek £103.65, Jersey Boys £103.10, Rock Of Ages £102.50, Lion King £102.50, Matilda £96.50.

The official London theatre guide does not show premium prices for any show in their guide, the most expensive seats for a musical are the regular top prices of £67.50 on some shows, which again makes Loserville less expensive for a "top price" ticket.
