My only gripe on the staging is that one of the things that they have changed in the touring production is one of my favourite bits - when Elphaba comes up from below stage at the start of No Good Deed.

They cant do that on tour as very few theatres can accomodate it, but it is still in place in London.

Yea - as I said, I expected there to be staging changes to fit the tour theatres - there were actually less changes than I expected there to be but I was just sad that one of the changes happened to be to one of my favourite bits.

Saw the show last night in Cardiff, and I would like to give special mention to Jemma Alexander as Elphaba. Her performance was absolutely mind blowing-I've never been so encapsulated and enthralled by an Elphaba before, and the emotions that she showed through the character was phenomenal. As for her vocals, I was astonished- her Defying Gravity was astounding, especially the flying section, with her second 'bring me down' riff and her 'from me' riff a joy to listen to, as was her 'no good deed'. The vocal power that she displayed was perfection, and I hope that this isn't the last time I see her on the tour.

I've seen Jemma twice now and she is brilliant. Certainly appreciated her performance yesterday more than before. Still hoping to see Nikki though

The sound seems to be have been commented on rather frequently with this tour!
