I would be very pleased with Nikki as Elphaba as stated before many times. I like a younger sounding or different quality to an Elphaba not to say they won't have a top performer either way. Sabrina Aloueche would be amazing too but she is probably more likely to do London than the tour. Lauren Samuels would be an interesting choice. :)

Could anyone else see Natalie casey as elphaba (she's leaving 9 to 5 just in time to rehearse) and Sheridan smith as glinda? Sheridan is a big name to sell tour and her and Natalie have good chemistry and Natalie is a relatively big name.

I do like Sheridan, but there's no way she could sing Glinda!  She wasn't the strongest singer in Legally Blonde, and there's no chance she'd get the top notes in No One Mourns the Wicked.

I'd love to see her as Madame Morrible one day though, she could really bring out the humour in the part.

Sheridan's a great actress but I can't see her as 'Glinda' at all. She'd be able to do the comedy and acting part well, but singing-wise, I'm not so sure.
Natalie Casey could probably sing 'Elphaba' well enough, but by contrast, I think acting-wise she's completely wrong for the role.

Natalie and sheridan are no way good enough singers for those roles, let alone the acting aspect

I'm pretty sure this will never happen but I would LOVE to hear Jodie Jacobs sing defying gravity.
