Ok I saw this tonight.
I got the Lastminute.com £10 top price ticket. I got put up in the Grand Circle. my side was petty empty, except about 8 of us in a row - all I guess from Lastminute. I asked when I picked up the ticket if there was anything in the stalls, to which they guy was unhelpful.
The first half I found lacking something. It seemed a little amateur for the Palladium. However, i got myself down into one of the many empty stalls - near front at the side. As I suspected, the evening took a upturn. I really enjoyed the second half.
Why they couldn't have put us in the stalls and made them look a bit more full, I have no idea.
Just noticed the last two times I've used Lastminute, I have got a poor seat. The best available used to be pretty good!

Kind of weird they aren't closing the upper level if it's that empty.

There isn't a balcony at the palladium. It's only 3 levels.

Took my mum to this last night and surprisingly enjoyed it. It looks and sounds like a 70's special, which is no surprise as that's what it started out as, but as a slice of Christmas family entertaiment it does what it says on the tin. A bit more on my blog, but not a lot to be honest http://www.frontrowd...sday-12_13.html
