Casting call has gone out today from Grindrods office with 1 year playing contracts.

I wonder does that mean they're thinking of touring it after London...

Although I'll be sitting at the back of the Upper Circle for this due to the ridiculous ticket prices, I will definitely book to see it! I love this show. In the Palladium's defence though, the view is pretty good wherever you sit. I've sat front, middle and back and they've all been fine.

I think the palladium can be rubbish for views depending on the staging, too close and you missed the yellow brick road in wizard, Sound of music the nuns couldnt be seen when they moved forwards on the platform from up top.

Amy, Twinnie and Zizi please! :)

Oh Zippy, I like you! Have we met?

I'm thinking Amy T - Val, and I cant decide between Zizi and Twinnie for Cassie and Diane. But then someone has mentioned Vix..tough casting never mind all the other amazing dancers/singers out there!

But this show needs a Strallen if ever a show did...

Ah yes, but I don't want to sit 3 miles away looking straight down.

You probably have, MarieAnn, I'm usually to be found lurking around the Shaftesbury! :) But best not get too off topic here!

".....But this show needs a Strallen if ever a show did..." not really, i wouldn't cast either summer or scarlett or sasi in this one. at all!! i would cast zizi, but her singing needs to be honed- she plays a great regina but the songs in chorus line are a lot more legit and technical and, well, less shouty. i can think of amazing shows- les miserables, miss saigon, wicked, shrek, we will rock you, blood brothers, jersey boys, mamma mia, etc, that are all managing without the nasal singing quartet!

I know what youre saying but I mean this type of show that requires all the performance skills to be equally honed and great. that is kind of what the Strallens are known for. Zizi has a lovely voice when singing songs that arent rock, and a phenomenal dancer so this would be perfect for her. Even if she is still quite young.
