If Hairspray's coming in then I'll be booking - I did enjoy it more than ACL.

Absolutely loved the show, just what I expected and thought the cast were generally excellent, though not overly keen on John Partrdige if I'm honest. Stand outs for me were Leigh Zimmerman and the girl who sang 'Dance Ten, Looks Three' name escapes me and don't have the programme to hand. Thought there was really high energy, great acting and suitable dancing. Did think the sound went off a few times which I know other posters have said.
Got the souvenier programme which is pricey than some at £10 but it is very good to be fair and quite thick with a lot of photos and stuff. Sad to see the show close as I would love to go again, do wonder why it didn't open somewhere smaller, it was never going to fill the Palladium! Can see why others don't like the show and find it a bit boring as generally just stood in a line talking but I really thought the acting and singing was good enough to keep me interested throughout.
I'd highly recommend it to anyone who hasnt yet been, especially if you can get such good value tickets

Can also see why it's not to everyone's taste, and it did take me a while to get into it the first time I saw it. But I find the show very inspirational and the dancing beautiful. In a way, I love that it's such a simple show (no sets, no big costumes, no scene changes etc) because it brings all the attention on the characters and it works as it's such a strong cast (both acting and dancing-wise!). Hope to see it one more time before it closes.
