Anyone want to hazard a guess about how busy the day queue might be on the last day? I am gonna try and give it a go but if they run out of dayseats I don't mind gettin a cheap regular ticket.

From what I understand, they don't actually do day seats anymore, instead they can be booked online in advance

I went to see this last night and I adored it. The cast are excellent, I can’t remember the last time I saw so much provision in the movement.

Broadway has been very good to me. But then, I've been very good to broadway.

No more day seats? That's helpful. I was going to go tomorrow. How come?

I saw this (excellent production) on 17th July when I went to the theatre box office, after losing out at the Mormon matinee lottery, and asked for a day seat. I got dead centre front row stalls which is a superb seat. Theatre was 3/4's full in stalls and dress, with upper closed.
The engine roared, the motor hissed,
And who could see that the road would twist

Am gutted that this is closing. Seen this twice so far and need to see it one last time before it closes. Growing up watching the film it holds such a special place in my heart and the stage show did not disappoint. The moment the band kicks in is so thrilling. A few weak links (unfortunately, the Strallen doesn't dance as well as I had hoped) but as a good production of this show as we're ever likely to see. And unlikely to come back to the West End any time soon.
