I saw NHS The Musical in Plymouth last year and it was one of the funniest and original things I've seen but haven't heard anything about since.

The was a West End transfer rumor?

Can you buy a CD anywhere?

The producers were in talks to transfer the show to the West End (Duke of Yorks) but they fell through. There was considerable interest in the show at Plymouth, talks are still on-going, and it is still possible that a London production will happen.

The show was recorded but it has not been commercially released.

I forgot to add - the writers of NHS (Nick Stimson and Jimmy Jewell) are working on a new show about football. It is provisionally called "Who Ate All The Pies" and will be performed at the Theatre Royal Plymouth.

I saw it down at the Drum too - great to see something so fresh, funny AND really political in Plymouth.  Ashleigh Gray was AMAZING in it and I see she's in Myths and Hymns at the Finborough next month.  Does anyone know anything about this?
