And Nigel Lindsay to play Bolingbroke. Genius.

Well, blow me down!

If it is going to show two more productions from the same Winter Season, then it would have to be Wolf Hall and Bring up the Bodies.

This would be useful, as long as they announce the broadcasts alongside future seasons so that I can plan ahead
My reviews can also be found at "A Night at the Theatre"

The Guardian article on this - http://www.guardian....re-live-cinemas - claims
"every bookable seat for both Stratford-upon-Avon and London has already been sold, even though it doesn't open until next autumn."

which is true in the case of Stratford but there are quite a few tickets still available for the Barbican run

The RSC website says: "Richard II will be the first of three Shakespeare plays to be filmed live during the next year – the next two titles will be announced in September." So, David J, they're very unlikely to include either Wolf Hall or Bring Up the Bodies, neither of which is a Shakespeare play.

Isn't there a tv series of the Hilary Mantels coming up? I doubt anyone else would get the filming rights.

The entire cycle of history plays will be filmed and two more screenings are due to be announced in September. My guess is that is when next year's 2014 schedule is announced and that could feature 1/2 Henry IV, which are next in the sequence and form an obvious pairing.

The BBC tv adaptation is to be filmed in spring 2014, and so its broadcast run will start well after the end of the Stratford theatre run. http://www.dailymail...SC--Mantel.html
