Shame for Once that they are opening in London the same year as BOM (rather than a year later as on Broadway)

I think that they will lose a lot of attention because of this and also miss out on many of the awards categories

I have to say that I do not see Once being a massive hit (I saw the Broadway show and do think it is very good) but is too understated and minimal to please many of the musical audience fans

I also think the tickets are a tad overpriced for it and it might well have done better somewhere like the NT for a limited run

Wow, I had no idea this was coming over so soon. Thanks for enlightening me - with the great buzz from Broadway I'm interested to check it out. Booked for early April.

I saw it in Dublin tonight - its sublime - got an instant tear-stained ovation from the full theatre.

Can't wait but as a Londoner I'm concerned about the stealth marketing, are they trying to cultivate enigma or are they just not very good?

I adore the score and can't wait to see the show. I just hope there will be an audience for this in London. The fact that they are now sending out offers for previews worries me.

Think it is a cheap show to do, relatively, and so it would be disproportionate to spend a lot on marketing.

I worry its going to be overshadowed by Mormon but I'm sure it'll do well, anyone know if any of the signage has gone up at the Phoenix?

Now that top price previews are reduced to £40 it will be cheaper to see this show in the West End than in Dublin (€49.50/£43.50)!
