So, what do we think? The play itself sounds v interesting, but I can't help feeling that this'll be a sort of re-hash of The Queen (brilliant movie though); that's why people will go. To see Mirren as The Queen again. The Queen: Live on Stage.

Still, the prospect of Daldry , Crowley and Mirren is an exciting one. But will I go? Comes down to the price. My bet cheapest £30, top (I think premiums should be listed as top price, not hidden away) £85-£90.

How can I not go? Stephen Daldry directing a play! Insight, attitude and chutzpah.

Cheaper than expected: £75 premiums, £49 "top price".
Upper circle £25, slips at £10. May go for one of those.

As Lynette says on the Last of the Haussmanns thread "God help us. The play is dead. Discuss". After seeing Jumpy I agreed with her totally, now this just confirms it. What has happened to originality?

The pedant in me forces me to post this quote from the official website:
"Further details of the Prime Minister's to be announced"
