I imagine it'll be successful but it won't be a long runner.

Was the last tour a hit?  I remember seeing it when I was younger and it being the catalyst for my musical theatre love, but can't remember whether it was sold out when I saw it or not.

I read on wikipedia that Jonathan Pryce is in talks to return as the Engineer, haven't seen that anywhere else so I don't know how reliable it is.
Seen:
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (UK tour, Wolverhampton), RENT 20th Anniversary Concert (Stoke-on-Trent), Evita (UK tour, Wolverhampton), Wicked (London), The Commitments (London), Les Miserables (London), Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (UK tour, Birmingham)

This fills me with dread. A gorgeous large west end theatre filled with a dreary revival , which will be a pale imitation of the original...Just to fill Cameron Mackintosh's pockets even more.

Jonathan Pryce I think is too old to play The Engineer now, he's great but I'd prefer someone new in the role.

He'd never be able to repeat the same success, and as much as Jonathan says it is, The Engineer is not an easy role to play.

Didn't David Bedella say he was doing the revival as the Engineer?
Sure I read it over on a broadway message board after an interview he did over in the States.
